Másodosztályban is indulunk / Participăm și în divizia secundă / We are also competing in the second division

A Sepsi-SIC kosárlabda csapata idén a női kosárlabda 1. Liga mezőnyében is indul. A másodosztályú csapatunkat a tapasztalt szerb edző, Nedeljko Lazić irányítja majd, aki korábban klubunk utánpótlás-nevelésével foglakozott.

Az 1. Ligában kilenc csapat vesz részt: a tavalyi bajnok CSM Alexandria, a Bukaresti Sportul Studențesc, a Jászvásári Politechnika, a Nagyváradi CSU, a Hoya KSE Kézdivásárhely, a Temesvári Politechnika, a Temesvári CSU, a CS Prahova, valamint a Sepsi-SIC másodosztályú csapata.

A másodosztályú bajnokság lebonyolítása a 2024-2025-ös szezonban megváltozott. A Román Kosárlabda Szövetség eltörölte a megszokott oda- és visszavágó rendszert, helyette a csapatok dupla fordulókat játszanak, vagyis egy-egy ellenféllel rögtön két mérkőzést is lejátszanak egymás után.

A Sepsi-SIC a Bukaresti Sportul Studențesc ellen kezdi meg a bajnokságot. A dupla fordulós rendszer értelmében másodosztályú csapatunk október első hétvégéjén lejátsza mindkét mérkőzését a fővárosi csapat ellen.

The Sepsi-SIC women’s basketball team will also compete in the Women’s League 1 this season. Our second division team will be coached by the experienced Serbian coach, Nedeljko Lazić, who previously focused on developing young talents at our club.

League 1 will feature nine participating teams: reigning champions CSM Alexandria, Sportul Studențesc Bucharest, Politehnica Iași, CSU Oradea, Hoya KSE Târgu Secuiesc, Politehnica Timișoara, CSU Timișoara, CS Prahova, and our second division team, Sepsi-SIC.

The competition format for the second division has changed for the 2024-2025 season. The Romanian Basketball Federation has abandoned the traditional home-and-away system, introducing instead double rounds, where teams will play two consecutive games against the same opponent.

Sepsi-SIC will start the championship campaign against Sportul Studențesc Bucharest. Under the new format, our second division team will play both matches against the capital team on the first weekend of October.
