Zoran Mikes vezetőedző nyilatkozata a CSM Târgoviște elleni mérkőzést követően:
“Először is, gratulálok a lányoknak, hogy a végén erőt találtak a mérkőzés megnyeréséhez. Nagyon nehéz volt játszani, különösen azután, hogy két nappal ezelőtt egy nagyon kemény ellenféllel, az IDK Euskotren csapatával játszottunk. A rotációnk nem túl nagy, így nem volt könnyű ez a mérkőzés számunkra. Hibákat is elkövettünk, de el kell mondanom, hogy elsősorban rendkívül csalódott vagyok a CSM Târgoviște csapata miatt, mert nem fogadták el a kérésünket, hogy a mérkőzést vasárnapra tegyük át.
Több mint 10 éve képviseljük Romániát nemzetközi versenyeken, és amikor egy csapat megpróbál előnyt kovácsolni a helyzetből, vagy meglepni minket, az egyszerűen nem sportszerű. Évek óta kapunk támogatást másoktól, ezért igazán nem értem a döntésüket. Teljesen csalódott vagyok a CSM Târgoviște csapatában, amiért nem voltak hajlandóak elfogadni a mérkőzés elnapolását.
Ezért még büszkébb vagyok a lányokra, hogy megnyerték a meccset. Most pihenünk, és készülünk a jövő hétre.”
Declarația antrenorului principal Zoran Mikes după meciul împotriva CSM Târgoviște:
În primul rând, felicitări fetelor noastre pentru că au găsit puterea de a câștiga meciul până la urmă. A fost foarte greu să jucăm, mai ales după meciul nostru acum două zile împotriva unei echipe foarte puternice, IDK Euskotren. Rotatia noastră nu este foarte mare, așa că nu a fost ușor să trecem prin asta. Am făcut câteva greșeli, dar trebuie să spun că, dincolo de toate, sunt extrem de dezamăgit de CSM Târgoviște pentru că nu a acceptat cererea noastră de a muta meciul duminică.
Reprezentăm România de peste 10 ani în competiții internaționale, iar când o echipă încearcă să profite de situație sau să ne surprindă, pur și simplu nu este un joc corect. Am primit sprijin din partea altora de-a lungul anilor, așa că nu pot înțelege această decizie. Sunt complet dezamăgit de CSM Târgoviște pentru că a refuzat să reprogramăm meciul.
De aceea, sunt și mai mândru de realizarea fetelor în acest meci. Ne vom dedica acum timpul necesar pentru a ne odihni și a ne pregăti pentru săptămâna viitoare.”
Statement from head coach Zoran Mikes following the match against CSM Târgoviște:
“First of all, congratulations to our girls for finding the strength to win the game in the end. It was very difficult to play, especially after our match just two days ago against a very tough opponent, IDK Euskotren. Our rotation isn’t that big, so it wasn’t easy to push through this. We made some mistakes, but I have to say that, above all, I am extremely disappointed with CSM Târgoviște for not accepting our request to move the game to Sunday.
We’ve been representing Romania for over 10 years in international competitions, and when a team tries to take advantage of the situation or catch us off guard, it’s simply not fair play. We’ve received support from others over the years, so I truly can’t understand this decision. I’m fully disappointed in CSM Târgoviște for refusing to reschedule the game.
That’s why I’m even more proud of the girls for winning the game. Now, we’ll take the time to rest and prepare for next week.”
