A február 9-én megtartott rendkívüli sajtótájékoztatón jelen volt a Sepsi-SIC elnöke, Ambrus József, a klub ügyvezető igazgatója, Rusz István, a kosárlabda szakosztály vezetője Pásztori István, valamint a kosárlabdacsapatunk vezetőedzője, Zoran Mikes.

A sajtótájékoztatón elsősorban szó esett a vezetőedzőnket érintő vádakról. Az ügyben a Nemzetközi Kosárlabda-szövetség (FIBA) a tegnapi nap folyamán (február 8) hozta meg a döntését. Az itélet értelmében a FIBA a klubot bírságolta meg 2000 euróra, az Euroliga utolsó csoportmérkőzésén történtek miatt. A vezetőedzőt nem szankcionálták a Lyon kosárlabdázója, Gabby Williams vádjai miatt.

Zoran Mikes elmondta, hogy kettős érzései vannak a döntést követően, mivel nehéz volt számára, és családjának is az elmúlt pár nap, amiért megvádolták őt. A közösségi médiában rázúdúlt vádak miatt nagyon rosszul viselte a történteket, és szeretné ha a Lyon és a francia válogatott játékosa bocsánatot kérne tőle. A sajtótájékoztatón a másik fontos témája a CSM Constanta jogtalan átigazolásairól és más szabálysértésekről is szó esett.

A tengerparti csapat a specifikus szabályok értelmében nem igazolhatott volna külföldi játékost, mivel az előző idényben nem szerepeltetett 13 és 14 év alatti csapatot a bajnokságban.

Említést tettek az elmaradt bajnoki mérkőzésről, amikor is a CSM Constanta ismét szabályt sértett, mivel a törvényben az szerepel, hogy a sportesemények legyen az nemzetközi, nemzeti, ifjúsági, az előnyt élvez a rendezvények és kultúrális eseményekkel szemben. A bajnoki mérkőzés pótlására azóta is várja klubunk az időpont kijelölését, amit a Román Kosárlabda Szövetséget se jelölt még ki.

A Román Kupa megrendezési jogát a tengerparti csapat nyerte miután csak ők és klubunk licitáltak a Final 8 megrendezéséért. Azonban a kijelölt időn belül, a CSM Constanta nem fizette ki ezt a bizonyos összeget a szövetségnek. A szabályok szerint ha a megadott dátumig nem érkezik kifizetés, a csapat elveszíti az esemény rendezési jogát, és a második legtöbbet licitáló rendezheti meg a tornát.

Amennyiben a klubunk további megkereséséeire se válaszol a szövetség, nemzetközi utakra terelik az ügyet, mivel elfogadhatatlan ennyi szabálysértés elfogadása a szövetség részéről.

La conferința de presă de urgenţă desfășurată pe 9 februarie, au participat președintele clubului ACS Sepsi-SIC, Ambrus József, directorul executiv al clubului, Rusz István, conducătorul secției de baschet, Pásztori István, și antrenorul principal al echipei de baschet, Zoran Mikes.

În cadrul conferinței de presă, s-a discutat în principal despre acuzațiile care vizează antrenorul nostru principal. În acest caz, Federația Internațională de Baschet (FIBA) și-a anunțat decizia ieri (8 februarie). Conform hotărârii, FIBA a amendat clubul cu 2000 de euro pentru evenimentele petrecute în timpul ultimului meci din grupele Euroligii. Antrenorul principal nu a fost sancționat în legătură cu acuzațiile făcute de către Gabby Williams, jucătoarea de baschet de la Lyon.

Zoran Mikes a spus că are sentimente contradictorii după decizie, deoarece a fost o perioadă dificilă pentru el și familia sa în ultimele zile. A resimțit puternic impactul acuzațiilor care i-au fost adresate pe rețelele de socializare, și ar dori ca jucătoarea de la Lyon să îi ceară scuze. La conferința de presă, s-a discutat și despre alt subiect important, respectiv transferurile ilegale și alte nereguli ale echipei CSM Constanța.

Echipa de pe litoral nu ar fi avut voie, conform regulilor specifice, să transfere jucătoare străine, deoarece în sezonul precedent nu a avut o echipă de sub 13 și 14 ani înscrise în campionat.

Au făcut mențiune despre meciul ratat din campionat, când CSM Constanța a încălcat din nou regulile, deoarece legea prevede că evenimentele sportive, fie ele internaționale, naționale sau pentru tineret, beneficiază de o excepție în ceea ce privește interdicția acestora comparativ cu alte evenimente și manifestări culturale.
Clubul nostru așteaptă încă data de reprogramare a meciului, iar acest lucru nu a fost încă stabilit de către Federația Română de Baschet.

CSM Constanța câștigase dreptul de a găzdui Cupa României după ce doar ei și echipa noastră au licitat pentru organizarea Final 8. Cu toate acestea, în termenul stabilit, CSM Constanța nu a achitat suma respectivă către federație. Conform regulilor, dacă plata nu este efectuată până la data limită, echipa pierde dreptul de a organiza evenimentul, iar echipa care a licitat cel de-al doilea cel mai mare cuantum va fi desemnată să găzduiască turneul.

În cazul în care federația nu răspunde la următoarele solicitări ale clubului nostru, cazul va fi adusă la nivel internațional, deoarece este inacceptabil ca atâtea încălcări ale regulilor să fie tolerate de către federație.

At the emergency press conference held on February 9, the president of Sepsi-SIC, József Ambrus, the club’s executive director, István Rusz, the head of the basketball department, István Pásztori, and the head coach of our basketball team, Zoran Mikes, were present.

During the press conference, discussions revolved around the allegations concerning our head coach. In this matter, the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) made its decision yesterday (February 8). According to the judgment, FIBA fined the club 2000 euros due to the events that occurred during the last group match of the EuroLeague. The head coach was not sanctioned regarding the accusations made by Gabby Williams, basketball player from Lyon.

Zoran Mikes expressed that he has mixed feelings following the decision, as the past few days have been challenging for him and his family due to the accusations. He found it very difficult to cope with the allegations that were unleashed on him through social media, and he would like an apology from the player of Lyon. During the press conference, another important topic discussed was the illegal transfers and other rule violations by CSM Constanta.

According to specific regulations, the coastal team should not have been allowed to sign foreign players, as they did not field an under-13 and under-14 team in the league in the previous season.

They mentioned the postponed league match when CSM Constanta once again violated the rules, as the law specifies that sports events, whether international, national, or youth-related, take precedence over other events and cultural activities. Our club is still waiting for the rescheduling of the league match, as the Romanian Basketball Federation has not yet determined the date.

The coastal team won the right to host the Romanian Cup after being the only bidder alongside our club for the organization of the Final 8. However, within the specified timeframe, CSM Constanta did not pay the designated amount to the federation. According to the rules, if payment is not received by the given date, the team loses the right to host the event, and the second-highest bidder can organize the tournament.

If the federation does not respond to further inquiries from our club, the matter will be escalated to international authorities because accepting this many rule violations is unacceptable on the part of the federation.
