Tovább írta klubunk sporttörténelmét kosárlabdacsapatunk. Negyedik nekifutásra sikerült bejutni Európa legjobb 16 csapata közé.

Az Euroliga idei kiírásának selejtezőjében csapatunk, a lett TTT Riga csapatával küzdött meg. Az első mérkőzésnek a Sepsi Aréna adott otthont. Hazai pályán 59 -54 arányban győztük le az Euroliga rekordbajnok lett együttesét.

A második mérkőzést Rigában rendezték. Mindkét csapaton érződött a feszültség, mindkét csapat egyformán hibázott. Ez nem véletlen hiszen hatalmas tétje volt a mérkőzésnek. A meccsen a támadásban elkövetett hibákat védekezésben sikerült kompenzálni, kikényszerítettük a baltiak hibáit. A védelem erőss volt, jól léptek ki játékosaink a dobásokra, és a palánk alatt is besegítettek a betöréseknél.
A mérkőzés második felében a hárompontos vonal mögüli dobásoknak köszönhetően, amiket Nyström, Gereben és Hristova értékesítettek sikerült nagyobb előnyt teremteni. A végén sikerült 10 ponttal is ellépni a lettektől, amit ugyan ledolgoztak, de a továbbjutás így is meglett, kettős győzelemmel jutottunk tovább. A végeredmény 62-63 (14-12, 13-18, 12-16, 23-17) lett. A csapatunkat 30 lelkes szurkolónk is elkísérte és végig buzdította. Rigában is hazai hangulatot teremtettek a zöld-fehér szurkolók. Köszönjük!

Az Euroliga főtábláján az A-csoportban folytatjuk, ahol ellenfelünk lesz a török Fenerbachce, az olasz Familia Schio, a spanyol Valencia Basket, a francia LDLC Lyon, a lengyel UMCS Lublin, a spanyol Zaragoza és a magyar DVTK Miskolc csapata. Az első mérkőzés október 4-én lesz idegenben, a Zaragoza csapatához utazunk.

Echipa noastră calificată în faza principală a Euroligii.

Performanța remarcabilă a echipei noastre de baschet ! La a patra încercare, am reușit să ne calificăm în rândul celor mai bune 16 echipe din Europa.
În faza de calificare a ediției din acest an a Euroligii, echipa noastră a întâlnit echipa letonă TTT Riga.
Primul meci s-a desfășurat la Arena Sepsi. Pe teren propriu, am reușit o victorie impresionantă cu scorul de 59-54 împotriva celei mai titrate echipe din istoria Euroligii.

Excelentă prestație a echipei noastre în cel de-al doilea meci desfășurat la Riga. Ambele echipe au resimțit presiunea și au comis greșeli, ceea ce nu este surprinzător, având în vedere importanța deosebită a meciului.Erorile din atac au fost compensate de o apărare solidă, forțând greșelile balticilor.Apărarea noastră a fost puternică, jucătorii noștri au avut prezență pe teren în momentele cheie.

În partea a doua a meciului, am reușit să obținem un avantaj mai mare datorită aruncărilor de la distanță, pe care Nyström, Gereben și Hristova le-au valorificat. Am reușit să ne desprindem la un moment dat cu 10 puncte față de letoni. Deși echipa letonă a reușit să reducă din diferență, spre finalul partidei. Echipa noastră a obținut calificarea în cele din urmă, cu o dublă victorie, am avansat mai departe. A doua întâlnire s-a încheiat cu scorul de 62-63 (14-12, 13-18, 12-16, 23-17)
Echipa noastră a fost însoțită de 30 de suporteri entuziaști care au susținut echipa pe tot parcursul meciului la Riga. Vă mulțumim!

În faza principală a Euroligii, vom continua în Grupa A, unde vom avea ca adversari echipele Fenerbahce din Turcia, Familia Schio din Italia, Valencia Basket din Spania, LDLC Lyon din Franța, UMCS Lublin din Polonia, Zaragoza din Spania și DVTK Miskolc din Ungaria. Primul meci va avea loc pe 4 octombrie în deplasare, când vom juca împotriva echipei Zaragoza.

Our team has qualified for the main phase of the EuroLeague

An outstanding performance from our basketball team! On the fourth attempt, we managed to qualify among the top 16 teams in Europe. In the qualification stage of this year’s EuroLeague edition, our team faced the Latvian team TTT Riga. We defeated the record-holding EuroLeague team with a score of 59-54 on our home court.

An excellent performance by our team in the second match held in Riga. Both teams felt the pressure and made mistakes, which is not surprising given the exceptional importance of the game. Offensive errors were compensated by a solid defense, forcing the Baltic team’s mistakes. Our defense was strong, and our players showed presence on the field in key moments.
In the second half of the match, thanks to three-point shots from Nyström, Gereben, and Hristova, we managed to establish a bigger lead. At the end, we even managed to pull ahead by 10 points against the Latvians.Although the latvian team managed to narrow the gap at the end of the game, we secured the qualification, advancing with a double victory. The final score of the second match was 62-63. (14-12, 13-18, 12-16, 23-17)
