Csapatunk az Euroliga harmadik fordulójában a lengyel Lublin alakulatával mérkőzött meg. Csapatkapitányunk Bethy Mununga nem utazott a csapattal a lengyelországi kiszállásra, mivel a napokban hasfájásra és szédülésre panaszkodott.
Zoran Mikes a pályára Gereben Lívia, Ellen Nyström, Borislava Hristova, Masa Jankovic és Morgan Green ötösét küldte a lengyelek ellen, akik Shyla Heal, Magdalena Zietara, Elin Gustavsson, Channon Fluker és Dominika Ullmann kezdővel álltak fel.

A térfélcserét követően jobb játékot mutattak a lányaink. Sikerült lefaragni az első félidős hátrányunkból és tíz pont alá is feljöttünk, és a harmadik negyedet 16-17-re megnyertük. Az utolsó 10 percben azonban nem tudtuk megfordítanunk a mérkőzés állását, bármennyire is küzdöttünk, a Lublin legyőzött minket az első félidős játékával.

După pauză, fetele noastre au arătat un joc mai bun. Am reușit să reducem handicapul din prima repriză și chiar am ajuns sub zece puncte, câștigând al treilea sfert cu 16-17. Cu toate acestea, în ultimele zece minute, nu am reușit să schimbăm soarta jocului, indiferent cât de tare am luptat, Lublin ne-a învins cu performanța lor din prima repriză.

In the third round of the EuroLeague, our team faced the Polish Lublin squad. Our team captain, Bethy Mununga, did not travel with the team to Poland as she complained of abdominal pain and dizziness in recent days.
